FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of minerals, particularly, to concentration at grease hardware and can be used in processing of diamond-bearing ores. Proposed method comprises removal of grease composition, treatment of concentrate with reagents and flushing with hot water. Concentrate is processed by emulsion based on solar oil and surfactant with subsequent treatment by extra reagent. After flushing with hot water high-temperature treatment is performed. Aforesaid treatment by extra reagent consists in flushing with solution of the same surfactant. Said surfactant represents a detergent with weight fraction of silicates in terms of SiO2 makes at least 3%, total alkalinity in terms of Na2O makes at least 36.0%, index of hydrogen ion concentration in pH units makes at least 10.5, while weight fraction of alcohol-soluble substances makes at least 1.5%.
EFFECT: higher surface quality of diamond crystals and efficiency of finishing.
