FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised via alumino-hydrogenation/iodination of 1-heptine to obtain (1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene, chlorodehydroxylation of acrylic acid, followed by amidation of the formed acryl chloride with isobutylamine to obtain N-isobutylacrylamide. The (1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene is then combined with N-isobutylacrylamide in the presence of Pd(OAc)2 K2CO3 and tetrabutylammonium chloride in a medium of N-methylpyrrolidone with the following molar ratio [(1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene]:[N-isobutylacrylamide]:[Pd(OAc)2]:[K2CO3]:[Bu4NCl]:[N- methylpyrrolidone] = 1:2:0.02:2.5:1:8 for 11 hours in an argon atmosphere at 60°C.
