SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 1-[(2E,4E)-deca-2,4-dienoyl]pyrrolidine (sarmentine), which involves hydroalumination-iodination of 1-heptane to obtain (1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene, amidation of acryl chloride with pyrrolidine to obtain 1-acryloyl pyrrolidine, combining (1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene with 1- acryloyl pyrrolidine in the presence of Pd(OAc)2, K2CO3 and tetrabutylammonium chloride in a polar aprotic solvent of N-methylpyrrolidone to obtain the end product, with the following molar ratio [(1E)-1-iodohept-1-ene]:[1-acryloyl pyrrolidine]:[Pd(OAc)2]:[K2CO3]:[Bu4NCl]:[N- methylpyrrolidone]=1:1.5:0.02:2.5:1:7.7 for 5 hours in an argon atmosphere at 70°C.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain the end product with high output.
