FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pressure (Pcr) of fuel injection at the moment, when concentration of NOx (combustion temperature) shows the maximum value provided that the moment (InjT) of fuel injection is fixed as equal to the first moment (InjT1) of injection, is recorded as the first pressure (Pcr1) of injection at the peak concentration of NOx. Similarly, the second pressure (Pcr2) of injection under peak concentration of NOx is recorded, provided that the moment (InjT) of fuel injection is recorded as equal to the second moment of injection (InjT2). Cetane number (CN) and property (T90) of fuel distillation are determined on the basis of these pressures (Pcr1 and Pcr2) of injection under peak concentration of NOx.
EFFECT: increased measured parameters of fuel.
