FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control unit (ECU 70) is offered. It operates the combustion condition in such a way that the barycentric position (Gc) of the heat generation rate is the same as target barycentric position (Gc*), and that can prevent the noise increase when burning. The noise increase is caused by ignition lag increase that appears if the device EGR works and the speed rate is low or the motor load is low. The control unit also prevents the ignition lag increase by virtue of the supercharger (44) boost pressure increase with which the motor (10) is equipped, and thus this prevents the noise increase when burning.
EFFECT: fuel utilization efficiency upgrading.
