FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: submersible probe is proposed, which comprises a submersible end of a metering head, in which there is a sampling chamber with an inlet channel and a thermocouple protruding with its hot end into the sampling chamber, and the thermocouple has a cable input for signal cables of the thermocouple. The cable input goes out from the metering head from the outlet hole at the end of the metering head, which is opposite to the submersible end. The straight line between the submersible end and the outlet hole forms a longitudinal axis of the metering head. An imaginary plane is drawn perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis via the hot end and via the most remote part of the inlet channel from the submersible end. In one of the versions the metering head has density at least 7 g/cm3 between its submersible end and the plane perpendicularly cutting the straight line between the submersible end and the outlet hole, and the total density of the metering head is equal to less than 7 g/cm3. In the other version of the invention the total density of the metering head, including a metal pipe at least partially surrounding the signal cable and including parts of the signal cable, is equal to less than 7 g/cm3.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements.
