FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to equipment used in odontology in preparing a prosthesis area. A method is implemented by drilling a hole in a maxillary bone projecting under the sinus membrane. Additionally, an ultrasonic insert is introduced into the drilled hole; the ultrasonic insert comprises a body extending from its proximal part mechanically connected with a surgical manipulator generating ultrasonic vibration to its distal portion generating ultrasonic vibration transmitted by the manipulator. The distal portion of the insert comprises a ring element with an increasing section end of which is formed by a flat surface perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a distal portion. The body is bent between the proximal and distal portions, while the insert additionally comprises an internal irrigation channel projecting onto the flat surface, and ultrasonic vibration is transmitted onto the insert in a combination with supplying the spray into the internal irrigation channel of the insert so that to generate cavitation in the spray under the sinus membrane to provide the effect of pneumatic pressure on the membrane o lift the membrane without contact with the insert.
EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing a risk of the sinus membrane rupture if lifted.
