FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gate valve has feed and discharge pipes accommodating seats with shaft-controlled gate, its shaped area interacting with heel spring-loaded relative to the case, heel beads getting in contact with seats at closing the gate. Gate sides have grooves to accommodate thrusts with upper end engaged with the shaft and lower end thrusting aforesaid heel. Spring of control heel is located outside the medium zone. Joint between shaft and gate features two-sided clearance along shaft axis.
