FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building industry, and namely to valve construction, and can be used as a shutoff and control valve in different pipelines of various applications. The shutoff and control gate valve includes a housing with supply and discharge branch pipes with seats arranged in them, which contact the damper with lower shaped part, which interacts with a pivot journal supported at opening of the gate valve with shoulders on grooves of seats and spring-loaded through the lower cylindrical opening of the housing. A guide sleeve, in which a pusher is arranged coaxially, is installed in the opening. The upper end of the pusher interacts with the pivot journal, and the lower end interacts with the shell enclosing smaller diameter of the guide sleeve and spring-loaded relative to the lower cover fixed on the housing.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at elimination of blockage of inter-turn space of a spring interacting with the pivot journal.
