SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valves production, namely to control valves, and can be used in process pipelines to control different work fluids. The shut-off and control unit comprises a housing with coaxial support and drainage channels with installed seats enclosing the gate controlled by drive. Making in the output seat or in its insert of a shaped channel formed by outgoing from one line curvilinear surface with contour made in Cartesian XY axes with step along Y axis 0,1 of gate stroke and X coordinate determination with appropriate step, depending on semi-axis of X coordinate using polynomial of n exponent, connected in top part by horizontal plane, and in bottom part by top plane of the channel, its cross-section is made either rectangular or square, or round, this ensures equal percent flow characteristic during control of the transported medium.
