FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of making an absorbent coating involves successively forming on a carrier plate, an adhesive layer, a polyimide layer with carbon nanotubes from a solution of pyromellitic dianhydride and oxydianiline in a polar solvent by centrifuging or wetting followed by drying. A layer is formed on the dried polyimide layer with carbon nanotubes from a dispersion of carbon nanotubes in a polar solvent - dimethyl formamide or dimethyl acetamide - by centrifuging or wetting. Further, the method involves drying and thermal imidisation of the polyimide layer with carbon nanotubes and with carbon nanotubes from the dispersion, partially embedded in the dissolved surface layer of polyimide. A reinforcing and absorbent layer of silicon nitride is formed by plasma-chemical deposition in the layer of carbon nanotubes embedded and protruding from the polyimide layer that has undergone thermal imidisation.
EFFECT: reproducible and time-stable process of making a coating with high absorption capacity for infrared radiation, operating in a wide temperature range.
