FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of transport facilities. Method of render help to automobile driver comprises three steps. First step consists in tracing one quantitative magnitude selected from vehicle side-slip, in course turn speed error and insufficient cornering ability. Besides, traced are also quantitative magnitudes related to said vehicle side-slip, in course turn speed error and insufficient cornering ability. Second step consists in defining the availability of vehicle stability loss in case any of traced quantitative magnitude or those derived (S3, S5, S6) from one or more traced quantitative magnitudes exceeds preset first threshold vale (S9). Note here that said second step comprises normalising of said traced magnitudes relative to reference value and deriving the quantitative magnitude to be compared with first threshold magnitude (Stabb_Thr_Hi) from two of normalised quantitative magnitudes. Third step outputs warning signal (S10) in case the availability of vehicle stability loss is revealed.
EFFECT: higher driver safety.
