FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at testing of an object (O): a transport vehicle (TV) equipped with an internal combustion engine (ICE), in the ratio of power indices, pollutant emissions and fuel efficiency, or ICE in the ratio of its performance characteristics at operation on gas fuels (GF). GF available in a test region or for a supply region is used for tests. Preliminary preparation of GF for tests consists in acquisition of data on its lower heat value. After preliminary work is completed, tests are conducted. As per results of the measurements made during O tests, there additionally calculated is energy contained in GF used for the data of certain tests, energy relieved from O flywheel if O is ICE, or from ICE flywheel if O is TV, energy efficiency of O, and relative energy content of GF. When taking decisions as per test results the efficiency of O is evaluated considering its energy efficiency, and power indices (power, torque) are evaluated considering relative energy content of fuel-and-air mixture.

EFFECT: reducing due dates and increasing reliability of test results.
