SUBSTANCE: cuff that when in use is placed on a measurement point for blood pressure measurement, comprises a fluid coating for measurement point compression, and a bent flexible plate placed outside the above fluid coating, when the fluid coating is wrapped around the measurement point; the plate is ring-shaped or arc-wise, and can be elastically deformable in the radial direction if wrapped annularly about the measurement point. A pumping-in and pumping-out mechanism is attached to the bent flexible plate and can pump in and exhaust the fluid coating. A body case in the form of the coating comprises the fluid coating, the pumping-in and pumping-out mechanism, and the bent flexible plate. What is disclosed is the blood pressure measuring device.
