FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a method of molecular-genetic identification of woody plant species, which includes the choice of efficient stable molecular markers, collecting material, molecular genetic analysis using PCR, analysis of revealed ISSR-markers and detection of identification (monomorphic and polymorphic) ones, analysis of the obtained data after sequencing, creation of molecular-genetic formula, creation of barcode, creation of genetic passport. The method is characterised in that in the molecular-genetic formula and the barcode in addition to identification DNA fragments of different sizes, amplified as a result of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), other structural changes of genomes are made, such as deletions, duplications, single nucleotide substitutions (SNP-Single nucleotide Polymorphism), identified in the comparative analysis of nucleotide sequences after sequencing of genomic DNA.
EFFECT: invention enables to identify effectively the woody plant species at the nucleotide level.
