FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction materials, namely to field of fireproof materials and is intended for protection against fire of elements of the following constructions: air ducts, influx and extract systems of general exchange, alarm, anti-smoke ventilation, systems of air conditioning, technological ventilation channels, including flue ducts for various purposes. Fireproof composition, obtained by successive charge of components into mixing reservoir and their mixing for 100-150 minutes, includes, wt %: liquid sodium glass 45-72, vermiculite 11.1-15; calcium carbonate 5.5-6.9; fly ash 10.1-11; mineral fibre 1-6; kaolin - the remaining part.
EFFECT: reduction of heat-conductivity of fireproof coating, increase of fire resistance of components of constructions with applied coating and reduction of toxicity of thermal decomposition products.
