FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method is described for acoustic detection of fluid medium flow condition variation in a pipeline equipped with a flow metre. The method includes installation of at least one acoustic sensor in a pipeline of a measurement station, recording of the basic acoustic configuration from the acoustic sensor by means of controlled passage of the fluid medium via a measurement station, under ideal conditions. The method also includes recording of acoustic configuration from the acoustic sensor in real time mode by means of passage of the fluid medium via the measurement station, under normal conditions, comparison of the basic acoustic configuration with acoustic configuration received in real time mode, definition of the difference between the base acoustic configuration and acoustic configuration produced in real time mode, to determine the variation of the flow condition and to record the flow condition variation. The system comprises acoustic sensors installed in a pipeline, a flow metre, a computer to collect acoustic information from acoustic sensors and to compare acoustic information with basic values to determination deviation from the normal condition of the fluid medium flow.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of a measurement station and transfer of a product to a consumer, and also detection of operation problems.
