FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A force-measuring catheter comprises an elongated tubular element having a cavity, a tip electrode placed on a distal end of the tubular element, and a centre spacer extending close to a proximal end of the tip electrode though a bending distal portion of the elongated tubular element. The centre spacer has a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, and it is attached to the elongated tubular element along the full length of the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge to form a one-piece integrated structure of the centre spacer and elongated tubular element. A strain gauge is attached to the centre spacer to measure a force close to the distal end of the tubular element. What is disclosed is the alternative embodiment of the force-measuring catheter differing by the aids for the electrode and centre spacer adjustment.
EFFECT: inventions provides a lower probability of tissue perforation along the catheter advance.
