FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a new heat-resistant lipase from thermoalcalophilic bacterium Thermosyntropha lipolytica. A lipase-coding gene was identified in Thermosyntropha lipolytica genome, the corresponding recombinant ferment, TSLip1, was expressed in Escherichia coli, cleaned and characterised. It is defined that TSLip1 shows hydrolytic activity in the ratio of butyrate paranitrophenyl, as well as triglycerides, including vegetable oils. Optimum conditions of the reaction were achieved at the temperature of 70-80°C and pH 8. The ferment is resistant to organic solvents and maintains more than 80% of activity in presence of 10% of methanol.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining new lipase with high thermal stability, which is active under alkali medium conditions.
