FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment and may be used in cardiac surgery to replace damaged natural mitral and tricuspid valves. A prosthesis comprises a stent 1 with a base 2, facing the forward blood flow 1, and an apex 3 facing the reverse blood flow II, flexible petals 4 made of a biological or polymeric material, forming a blocking element, a cuff 5 having a seating surface 6 contacting with the cardiac tissues, and an outer surface 7 contacting with the blood flow. The prosthesis is provided with a ring shell 8 end faces of which are connected respectively with the base 2 and the apex 3 of the stent 1; an inner side surface of the shell 8 comprises the petals 4 forming a gap to be filled with blood between the side surface of the shell 8 and the surfaces of the petals 4 in the closed position. An outer side surface of the shell 8 is circumferentially sealed to the cuff 5. The cuff 5 is secured approximately midway the side surface of the shell 8 in the prosthesis for the intraannular position of the implantation. For the supraannular position of the implantation, the cuff 5 is secured approximately at the apex 3 of the stent 1.
EFFECT: inventions provide a lower risk of patient's injuries.
