FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be applied in cardio surgery for replacement of injured natural aortic heart valves in people. Valve prosthesis contains closing element 1 and frame 7, forming opening 8 for passage of blood flow. Frame is made from durable elastic artificial or biological material, which has possibility of changing shape for moving together with surrounding live tissues, and is provided with elements for frame fastening to fibrous ring 9, aorta 10, elements for suturing with flexible cusps and elastic cuff. Element of frame fastening to fibrous ring is made in form of hard ring, sutured to frame base. Elastic cuff 13 contains two rings, one of which is closed, and the other is open, and is provided with bearings 18 on opposite ends for increasing cut ring diameter.

EFFECT: increase of valve durability and reduction of risk of trauma to patient during implantation.
