FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotor and stator are made in the form of magnets with constant axial magnetisation in the form of case-type rotation bodies located coaxially, and their similar magnetic poles are directed towards each other; along inner surface of the stator and the outer surface of the rotor, which faces it, there uniformly distributed is an electrostatic charge of the similar sign. The rotor can be freely rotated in the stator because it is located with a working gap and is in suspended state under action of magnetic and electrostatic repulsion forces. The bearing axis made from non-magnetic material is rigidly attached to the rotor and passes with a small gap through fluoroplastic sleeves fixed in the stator.
EFFECT: invention allows designing a bearing having long service life and providing high stability to axial and radial loads at minimisation of overall dimensions and weight; the proposed bearings operates almost noiselessly and is high-stable towards contaminations.
