FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: current lead is made of mated pipe sections, inside of which a metal current-conducting chord is stretched between end insulators. An electrical igniter is mated to the top end of the current lead. The inner part of a centre composite electrode is placed in its hollow cylindrical housing with a drain hole. The outer part of the centre composite electrode in form of a blown pipe at the end forms a spark gap with the arc of the hollow pipe of a protective grid. The centre composite electrode is completely hollow with blow holes on its inner part. Ends of the hollow pipes of the grid, having blow holes in the highest parts of the arcs, are directed inside the cavity of the cylindrical housing of the electrical igniter. The drain holes are made at the end of the cylindrical housing and ends of the pipe sections of the current lead. All inner cavities are linked to each other through drain holes in flange connections, except the flange connection lowest from the casing of a high-voltage source, above which there is an outer drain hole from the cavity of the pipe section of the current lead.

EFFECT: invention improves reliability of operation of the electrical ignition system.
