FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for standby and pilot burners of flare devices. Standby burner includes nozzle, gas-air mixture inlet unit, additional air flow inlet unit, housing of mixing chamber with a side hole communicated with forechamber cavity of housing through passage hole to accommodate electrode spark igniter. Forechamber is arranged inside mixing chamber, gas-air mixture inlet unit is connected to a mixing chamber and forechamber to housing through side hole in housing of mixing chamber, which is divided by the upper edge of collar of passage opening in forechamber housing, circular ledge with forechamber housing outer wall, inner wall of housing of mixing chamber and with conical surface of nozzle for introduction of additional air flow in housing cavity of forechamber to make a circular channel in housing cavity of forechamber gas-air mixture, and electrode of spark igniter is made in form of a tube connected to input of additional air flow and passing coaxially through mixing chamber, forechamber and nozzle to make circular spark gap between edge of nozzle and tube. Invention aims at increasing reliability of ignition and monitoring of availability of flame.
EFFECT: higher reliability of ignition and monitoring of availability of flame.
