FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of metal nanoparticles. Prepared suspension of metal seed nanoparticles is introduced into growth medium containing water solution of metal ion concentration of 10-5-10-3 M, reduction agent in concentration of 10-5-10-2 M, stabiliser in concentration of 10-3-1.0 M and heat sensitive agent in concentration of 0.1-10 wt %. Obtained mix is irradiated with monochromatic radiation with wavelength corresponding to that of the surface plasma resonance of produced nanoparticles. Irradiation is performed to maximum difference of optical densities on wavelengths corresponding to maximum and minimum mix optical density and difference in wavelengths two times smaller than maximum optical density of the mix in spectrum long-wave band defined by intermittent registration of growth medium with growing nanoparticles. Thereafter, nanoparticles are isolated by centrifugation.
EFFECT: required sizes of nanoparticles, narrow peak of absorption on plasma resonance frequency.
