FIELD: experimental medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in laser hyperthermia of tumors. An intratumoral injection of a suspension of gold nanoparticles with plasmon resonance is performed and the tumor is irradiated with laser radiation at a wavelength of 750–1,200 nm. Before irradiation, an optical brightening agent is applied to the surface of the skin above the tumor. Irradiation is carried out in two stages, at the first stage it is irradiated for 10 minutes with a power density that provides heating of the skin up to 41°C; at the second stage, they are irradiated for 15 minutes with a power density that provides heating of the skin up to 59°C. A mixture of glycerol, DMSO and water in volume fractions of 70%:5%:25%, respectively, was chosen as the clearing agent.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the negative impact on healthy tissues surrounding the tumor, including tissues that are on the path of laser radiation to the tumor, due to the complex implementation of laser hyperthermia when gold nanorods are introduced into the tumor and the use of the technique of optical clearing of tissues that are on the path of laser radiation to the tumor. tumors.
