SUBSTANCE: invention refers to molecular biology, biotechnology and medicine. There are presented a method to isolate stem cells from the umbilical cords expressing ZNF281, with culturing the cells in a vessel containing fibronectin, and obtaining the stem cells from the culture; and also a stem cell culture medium, a medium for culturing stem cells; a cell therapeutic, and a method for increasing a stemness of the stem cells characterised by the presence of a spherical culture or a three-dimensional stem cell culture.
EFFECT: invention may be used in medicine for transplantation applications.
