FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to organ transplantation. To this end, an organ is exposed to exogenous stem cells, the stem cells being non-embryonic non-germ cells that express telomerase, have a normal karyotype, are not tumorigenic. Stem cells were subjected to at least 10-40 cell divisions in a culture prior to exposure of the organ to said cells, and wherein the organ is exposed to the stem cells prior to transplantation to a recipient.
EFFECT: invention provides a beneficial effect on the organ with respect to the proliferation of T cells, ischemic reperfusion by treating the organ with stem cells prior to transplantation to the recipient.
