SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition of medium for rejuvenation of mesenchymal stem cells of an elderly subject, containing FBS (foetal bovine serum), 0.5-1 ng/ml selenium, 10-50 ng/ml EGF (epidermal growth factor), 1-100 ng/ml bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor) and NAC (N-acetyl-L-cysteine). Also a method for rejuvenation of mesenchymal stem cells of an elderly subject is disclosed, comprising culturing mesenchymal stem cells in an elderly subject in the above medium composition.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase significantly the efficiency of cell therapy with the use of mesenchymal stem cells.
