FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: to protect an aircraft from controlled missiles with infrared homing heads, launch of one or more missiles is detected, laser emission is generated with density exceeding power density of thermal emission of the aircraft motor and sent to the missile position point, so that the missile get wrong information on the target location. The procedure is repeated for each next missile.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of aircraft protection.
