FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface cleaning of compressor supercharger and turbosupercharger blades for ship ICE supercharging by air from engine and boiler rooms and other ICEs with cylinder supercharging. Surfaces of compressor blades (2) are cleaned by abrasive particles forced in airflow (5). Airflow (5) is pre-turbulised and processed by UV radiation (4) with 126-189 nm wavelength and by ozone formed hereat. UV radiation and ozone evaporate aerosols and dry molecular film in airflow of impurities of 0.1-100 mcm particle size. Abrasive components represent dried particle sized to 2-100 mcm combusted at compressor outlet in combustion chamber.
EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning in continuous long-term operation.
