FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines of supercharged vehicles. Method for a supercharged vehicle engine consists in that during operation of engine (10) at idle speed and when vehicle is not actuated, part of inlet channel (42) is insulated by closing inlet throttle (20) and bypass valve (72) connected to electric supercharger (15). Operation of charger (15) is provided to generate compressed air in an isolated part and compressed air is supplied from an isolated part to a certain device. Compressed air is used for actuator and/or vehicle component consuming compressed air. Vehicle component includes vehicle tires or vehicle pneumatic suspension system. Disclosed are embodiments of the method for a supercharged vehicle engine.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of compressed air source and/or vacuum on board of vehicle.
