FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. Method for a vehicle containing supercharged engine (10) is that, in response to an increase in driver demand, to provide compressed air to piston engine (10), first compressor (110) accelerated upstream from second compressor (114). First compressor (110) is driven by electric motor (108). Second compressor (114) is driven by turbine (116). Regulate the operation of first compressor (110) based on the altitude of the vehicle. During acceleration, to increase the flow of air through first compressor (110), close bypass valve (62) installed in the bypass channel, running parallel to first compressor (110). During acceleration, first compressor (110) holds valve (92) of the overflow valve, installed in channel (90) of the overflow valve, running parallel to turbine (116), in a more open position. In response to the overshoot of the boost pressure during acceleration of first compressor (110), bypass valve (62) is periodically opened, while keeping valve (92) of the bypass valve closed. Method for a supercharged engine and an engine system is disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in preventing the partial closure of the overflow valve and preventing the temporary loss of performance of the supercharged engine.
