FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: device for absorbing individual components, such as contaminants or recycled materials, in gases in which the absorbent solution contacts gas in the absorption chamber. The absorbing solution is supplied by spray nozzles to the absorption chamber provided with a gas distribution grating causing turbulence of gas stream inflow above gas inlet opening, characterized in that the spray nozzles are provided in the gas distribution grating through which the absorbing solution is introduced. The gas distribution grating is formed by a large number of pipes, the spray nozzles being arranged on the pipes, and the absorbing solution being supplied to the absorption chamber through the pipes. A method of absorption is also claimed.
EFFECT: increase efficiency of the absorption process.
