SUBSTANCE: patient's blood pressure is measured for one day. Day-time and night-time maximum blood pressures are compared. If observing an increase of the day-time pressure by 4.7%-10.9% as compared to the night-time pressure, the ATP inhibitor ramipril 10 mg/day is administered in the morning and afternoon. If observing the night-time pressure by 4.7%-10.9% as compared to the day-time pressure, ramipril is administered in the evening.

EFFECT: effective prevention of the cerebral disorders and cardiovascular complications in the given group of patients.
