SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely cardiology. Arterial blood pressure monitoring is performed, on the basis of which the value of morning BP increase is determined as the difference between mean morning BP and minimum night BP. Mean morning BP is calculated on the basis of four to eight blood pressure levels for fixed two-hour time intervals (TI) or from 6 to 8 hours, or from 7 to 9 hours, calculated regardless of the time of awakening.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating subjectivism and increasing validity of morning increase in outpatient arterial pressure in hypertensive patients.
