FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making metal ceramic joints by soldering, for example, of ceramic and titanium tubes. Assembly of ceramic and titanium parts with an aluminium solder alloy placed in between is prepared. The area of the ceramics and titanium joint is heated at continuous rotation of the assembly by a focused electron beam in a vacuum chamber under the pressure of 5-15 Pa until the solder alloy melts. After holding in such a state for 1-2 minutes the electron source is switched off and the assembly is taken out of the vacuum chamber after being cooled.
EFFECT: usage of aluminium as the solder alloy together with the exclusion of the operation on ceramics metallisation and performance of the operation on heating the joint of ceramics and metal by an electronic beam under the specified pressure allows for the increased efficiency of the procedure for making tubular joint due to the decrease of its duration.
