SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for estimating the effectiveness of antioxidant activity stimulation by determining the concentration of reduced glutathione; besides, an incubation medium is added with 1,4-dithioerythritol and ascorbic acid; with an increase of reduced glutathione within 0.75 nmole/mg of protein to 0.90 nmole/mg of protein and more, the antioxidant activity stimulation is considered to be effective, while an increase of reduced glutathione within 0.75 nmole/mg of protein to 0.80 nmole/mg of protein and less, the antioxidant activity stimulation is considered to be ineffective.
EFFECT: higher accuracy, easy to implement and interpret the results.
