DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR LYMPHOCYTE APOPTOSIS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2545900 C2

FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for diagnosing lymphocyte apoptosis. That is ensured by isolating the cells, incubating for 48 hours at 37°C with 5% CO2 added, in the presence of dexamethasone, the apoptosis-inducing factor, in the concentration of 10-4 mole/ml. Lymphocyte viability is qualitatively measured by trypan blue incorporation. The cells are processed with hydrogen peroxide 0.5 mM. That is followed by the biochemical testing of the concentration of protein-related, reduced and oxidised glutathiones in lymphocyte lysate. If the concentration of protein-related glutathione increases by 5% and less, the concentration of reduced glutathione increases by 7% and less, and the concentration of oxidised glutathione increases by 18% and more, lymphocyte apoptosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention enables diagnosing lymphocyte apoptosis by the complex measurement of three forms of glutathiones.
