FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser range finding. A laser range finder comprises a receiving device and a transmitting device including an emitter lens and a laser emitter with its equivalent body of luminescence being placed in the focal plane of the emitter lens by the dimensions A×B. The lens consists of a cylindrical first optic component with focal distance f1 with its generatrix being perpendicular to the minimal dimension B of the body of luminescence, and the second optic component The second component is symmetrical in respect to the lens axis and has the focal distance f2 ≥ A/α, where α is an angular size of a remote object corresponding to the maximal dimension A of the body of luminescence by the orientation. Parameters of the optic components comply with the conditions
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing of a device along with keeping the dimensions and efficiency.
