FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground tests, namely to the determination of conditions for a shell approaching a target. The method involves usage of sensors in the form of photoreceivers' rulers set in the vertical and horizontal planes, registration of the actuated cells of photodetectors at the first and the second sensors at the moment of the shell flight, determination of the movement coordinates of the thrown unit, displaying the data on its velocity, its flight coordinates in respect to the first and the second sensors and on the angles of the shell approach to the target.

EFFECT: invention allows for the improvement of the information content on the conditions of shell approach to a target.
