FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of fibres in production of parts made of composites. Proposed machine comprises compaction roll to apply tape on the surface, said tape being composed by at least one flat web pre-impregnated with resin, and heating system designed to emit heat radiation towards said tape. Compaction roll comprises rigid central tube and cylinder made of soft elastically straining material and fitted on said central tube. The latter has radial holes. Said cylinder is made of soft material and can communicate by its outer surface with radial holes. This machine comprises heat control means to inject heat control medium into central tube inner channel.
EFFECT: higher uniformity of compaction over the entire width of fibre web and/or matrix.
