SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an image capturing device. The device comprises an image forming lens, an image sensor and a plurality of microlenses. The device also includes an image processing module configured to form a reconstruction image in a predefined refocusing plane by performing refocusing over image data that were output from the image sensor, and determining if a subject is present on the reconstruction image. The recording module in the device records image data that were output from the image sensor and records information about a subject whose presence was determined using the image processing module, as auxiliary information in conjunction with image data.
EFFECT: identifying a subject in an image captured by a light-field camera with preview.
