FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrophysical and electrochemical treatment, particularly, to spark-erosion alloying of steel part surface. In compliance with this invention, first, steel part surface is coated with antifriction coat of copper under conditions whereat shot-circuit current Jsc=0.5-0.6 A, idling voltage Uid=56.1 V, reservoir capacitor capacity C=20 mcF. Then, ply of the coat of wear-resistant high-hardness of metal or its carbide selected from then group of Ti, V, W is applied under conditions whereat short-circuit current Jsc=2.0-2.2 A, idling voltage Uid=68.7 V, reservoir capacitor capacity C=300 mcF.

EFFECT: higher hardness, wear resistance, decreased surface roughness.
