FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: weight is used as inertial mass which is a resistance element mounted on the frame, made in the form of a shaft with weights and discs of different diameters. It does not enable the subsequent athlete to reduce the running speed, it must continually either increase or maintain it at a certain level till the finish. In the elastic cord or the cable the dynamometer is mounted defining traction which an athlete develops, using the lounges it is attached to his belt. This simulator enables to program the training process of runners for the short distances in different load conditions: maximum, submaximal, medium, moderate (e.g. to start running at a distance at first with a small load which can then be increased until the end of the run, and vice versa).
EFFECT: improvement of power-speed abilities, and running technique, physical qualities and ability of athletes, increase in muscle strength of back in various modes of its manifestation due to the smaller vertebrae strain, to form the correct posture while running.
