FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, mainly, to modification of parts made of hard alloys used for cold and hot metal and metal alloy forming, for example, cutting. Hard alloy article is irradiated by fast electrons at fluencies lower than 1·1012 el/cm2, while stabilising annealing is performed at 200-350°C.
EFFECT: stable mechanical characteristics.
