FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyolefin (PO) composition for making articles containing 60 to 99 wt% of heterophase propylene copolymer (HECO) and from 1 to 40 wt% of polar modified α-polyolefin (PMP), wherein said heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO) contains: (a) (semi) crystalline polypropylene (PP) and (b) an elastomeric propylene copolymer (EPC) dispersed in said (semi-crystalline) polypropylene (PP), wherein said polyolefin (PO) composition has (I) a fraction soluble in cold xylene (XCS) ranging from 28 to 45 wt%; where additionally the fraction soluble in cold xylene (XCS) of said polyolefin composition has (II) intrinsic viscosity (IV) in range of 1.80 to 3.30 dl/g. Also disclosed are versions of such a composition, a method of producing such compositions and an automotive industry product containing a polyolefin (PO) composition of the present invention.
EFFECT: polyolefin (PO) composition, having excellent impact properties, good rigidity along with good spatial stability.
