FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry. Therapeutic oral cavity sanitation is performed with a pre-installed individually made occlusal splint. That is ensured by determining a therapeutic position of the lower jaw by computed tomography of the temporomandibular joint. Using an intraoral scanner, virtual images of the dentition are obtained and their relationship is determined in a therapeutic position of the lower jaw. Teeth to be treated are virtually modelled. Virtual model of the teeth to be treated is used for modelling an occlusal splint. Splint is modelled to be fixed on the teeth of the lower jaw, having boundaries overlapping the clinical equators of the teeth, and having imprints of antagonist teeth. Virtual model of the occlusal splint is converted into a physical model. Therapeutic oral cavity sanitation is performed using the prepared occlusal splint. For this purpose, the prepared occlusal splint is fitted in the oral cavity before the beginning of the sanation, followed by sanitation of each causative tooth. Upon completion of the sanation of each tooth in the splint in the projection of the tooth tubercles with a dental lance-like bur with a diameter equal to the diameter of the cannula of the fluid composite material, through perforations are formed, through which the composite light-cured material is introduced. Prepared tooth restoration is ground and polished. Upon completion of therapeutic sanitation of all causative teeth, an occlusal splint is removed.
EFFECT: method enables therapeutic teeth sanitation during treatment of musculo-articular dysfunction with an occlusal splint which does not exert pressure on causative teeth and is a template for forming functional occlusal contacts.
