METHOD OF TREATING ENURESIS AFTER RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61N1/32

Abstract RU 2526400 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: in the postoperative period electric stimulation through electrodes, applied on the area of innervation of the pelvic floor, not earlier than 6 months after radical prostatectomy is executed. A cathode is applied on the perineum length, with the application of an anode above the pubic joint. Electric stimulation is realised in sessions of amplipulse therapy by series of modulated fluctuations at a frequency of 50 Hz. Within the first week the session of electric stimulation is realised for 10 min with the modulation coefficient 75% with the duration of sending 2 s, and the duration of the pause 3 s. On the following days it is carried out for 15 minutes with the modulation coefficient 100% with the duration of sending 4 s, with the pause duration - 6 s. The sessions are carried out 3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.

EFFECT: method increases treatment efficiency, which is achieved due to the application of amplipulse therapy and the mode of carrying out the sessions of electric stimulation.
