FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drawing-gaging equipment, particularly, to means for mechanical removal of scale from profiled hot-rolled or gaged heat-treated stock (rolled wire, rods, annealed wire, etc). Proposed method comprises blank drawing through spinning cartridge and cleaning by device including bin for abrasive powder, cylindrical compaction chamber located thereunder and communicated therewith via intake section and connected with larger base of conical spinning cleaning chamber and blank drawing channel arranged ahead of said cylindrical chamber and aligned therewith. Blank drawing channel is composed by cylindrical guide in diameter exceeding maximum diameter of said blank by 6-10 abrasive powder mean particles sizes while its length makes at least 2.61 of its diameter. Intake section is arranged between cylindrical compaction chamber and cylindrical guide, length of the formed being selected proceeding from the need in accommodation of 300-450 powder particles while its diameter equals that of the larger base of conical cleaning chamber. conical cleaning chamber length is selected to receive some 135-150 particles. Said cleaning chamber features smaller base diameter for accommodation of 3-5 particles in gap composed with the blank. Cleaning is performed with forming of helical microrelief on blank for catching the process lubrication while abrasive powder represents a crushed iron 300 mcm diameter balls.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
